Sustainability has been part of SK’s DNA since day one. As the firm has grown and expectations from stakeholders have increased, SK’s leadership recognized the need for an enhanced, firm-wide approach.
In April of 2022, SK hired Anne Kolton as its first Chief Sustainability Officer. Ms. Kolton works with all functions at the firm to enable the integration of sustainability into each aspect of SK’s operations – from deal teams and financing to portfolio operations and investor relations.
SK is implementing a three-part sustainability strategy that is firmly based in the firm’s mission: to sustainably create value for our stakeholders in all economic environments.
Execution
The implementation of SK’s sustainability strategy begins before a company becomes part of the SK portfolio and extends through realization. SK is working to apply this step-by-step approach across SK and the portfolio to enable well-informed decision making, effective prioritization, performance tracking, strategic improvement, and value realization.
